Black fruit (blueberries and blackberries) prevails in this wine with a long, elegant, persistent finish with hints of resin and pine. It presents some herbaceous complexity, where you can feel light vegetable and cocoa notes. It has very smooth tannins, very high acidity for the alcohol content and a well-integrated barrel. Harvested in the second week of September and aged for 12 months in used French oak barrels. Great aging potential! It goes very well with any traditional Portuguese meat and cod dish, however it can be drunk on its own.
