Palheto

Humus Palheto 2019 is a smooth Touriga Nacional red. On the nose it is light but very floral (violet and strawberry). On the palate the expressive tannins stand out.

The Humus Palheto grapes come from vines influenced by the humidity of the Atlantic climate, which causes the grapes to ripen more slowly, delaying the harvest until mid-October. Ferments in stainless steel tanks, with a 2-week maceration and a 12-month aging in oak barrels. Humus Palheto is neither filtered nor clarified.
